My debut novel
I am currently writing a solarpunk-inspired climate fiction novel featuring a polyamorous love story. The novel plays out on two timelines: Vancouver in 2025 and Italy in 2075.
The story follows several young people in Vancouver who are working towards a better world in very different ways, as well as their complex relationship dynamics. Again and again, the narrative grapples with the question of how we can build resilient bonds with the people around us — rooted in deep love and care that give us strength and stability in an increasingly harsh environment. By weaving in the future timeline, the novel explores how our actions today can change the world for good and how our children and grandchildren will be shaped by them.
